Finding Bird Dogs

I am a real estate investor on Long Island who is looking to build a team of 6-7 bird dogs who can canvas the island in search of deals. I will reward them with 500 dollars for each deal that I move on.  

Do you guys know of a good way to market this service cheaply? I have scoured the Long Island Real Estate forum and found a few, I am looking for other CHEAP ways to find them for wholesale deals.

you might want to bump up their commision if you want people to be interested.
In our area (and our houses are way too cheaper) a bird-dog usually gets around $2000 for a good deal he brings.
