Large Billboards: "We Buy Houses" ?

Has anyone used large billboards to attract motivated Sellers?

I know the bandit signs work but I want to target an area that I can't reach thru bandit signs.

We Buy Ugly Houses folks use large billboards and that is about all I know of here in Texas. I used one once when I owned part of a publishing company. The costs are quite high. We paid $1400 per month and about $2000 in set up costs to do a sign on I35 here in Austin.

I too have used large "WeBuyHousesForCash" billboards.  What I have found is that 99% of the people who call want market value.  Yes there are some diamonds in the rought that are found and I have landed deals this way.  But sifting thru all the suspects to find the prospects can be very time consuming.

If you are going to go this route, I would recommend having someone take the calls for you and pre-screening these people.

W-hy do you need  to sell?
O- what do you owe?
W- when do you want to close?


You can then sort thru these leads, run comps and put the good prospects on a property inspection form for you with comps attached and set-up an appointment for you to go look at these leads.
