I think it would be a interesting to hear what finally got people to pull the trigger and start their first deal.
Many wanna be investors that I talk to on a daily basis seem to have the same thing in common, they have all
"thought about doing real estate", they have read all the books, done all the courses, even signed up for mentoring programs and still nothing. They are all "getting ready to get ready".
They say you can tell the
success of a man not by the severity of his problems, but whether they are the same problems that he had a year, or even a decade ago.I have always been intrigued by what makes some succeed, and others who often times have more skill, more drive, and more intelligence fail. This idea intrigues me because as I become more and more successful, I seem to be passing by many of the people who I thought had done so well when I was growing up.
I always ask myself "Why me?", I have no special talent, all I can figure is some people know how to do different things, some can fix plumbing, some can sell, some can even rebuild an engine. I guess the best answer I can come up with is that I cant do any of those things all I really know how to do is make money.
I guess some skills pay better than others. What made you bite the bullet, and get it done?
