Hi all,

I am in a bit of a bind. I have until Tuesday to get a contract
done between the current foreclosed upon owner and myself. Tuesday
is the final day of the 10 day redemption period here in NJ.  My funds are
ready but I am afraid the attorneys will not be able to get the deal
signed and ready for us to bring to the Sheriff's office to redeem
the property. My questions are the following:

1. What exactly happens at the Sheriff's office when trying to
redeem the property? (Who has to be present, etc.)

2. Is there any possible way to get an extension on the 10 day
redemption period and if so, what is needed to accomplish this (i
take it we have to appear before the judge and somehow try to
convince him to give us an extension to work out a deal but how this
can be done....)

It's a good deal and I would hate to lose it on a technicality such
as not handling the next couple of days the best that I could.

Thanks in advance!
