Laccima's real estate license was revoked on 9/26/2005!  You've really got to do something BAD to have your license REVOKED!  I've been watching his show for a laugh for a while now.  The sidekicks are really more savy than he is.  He should ditch the BMW too. It's not making him any money!

I don't like Sam because I don't like the cigar club, BMW driving, money flaunting types. Using the term "sexing" when refering to a house is incredibly annoying.
He comes off as some-one who grew up lower-middle class and now that he has a little bit of money he has to make sure EVERY person knows it. His side kick Lamont is incompetent and is either there just for the show or Sam doesn't care about his workers pulling their weight. Lamont is lazy and would probably be pumping gas ( and not doing THAT right) if Sam  fired him. Lamont accepts no responsibility and gets pissed when has actually has to do something that involves more effort than making a phone call.

But the show does show newbs can make money, not because of what you learn about REI but because if a guy who hires incompetent help, spends his money on things to show that he has money, and does tastless rehabs like adding a recording studio to a property can make money in REI than I can too.

Flip my house means in english F**K my house...

Reality TV is all fake.. We all know that.  Find a reality tv show that really shows the truth.. Producers have to edit and reshoot scenes till it works...Just lower paid actors, guess that is why they hate reality..

They never made money....they never owned any of the houses!!  Watch the vids at the begining of this thread.  Sam Leccima is a TOTAL SCAM ARTIST.

What do you think about the show "Property Ladder" on TLC?  That seems to be about as real as the shows get.

The Real Deal is pretty good, but still very misleading.
