THE SECRET

I am going to get back on the topic of this thread which is "The Secret", this is just a modern version of Wallace D. Wattles book "The Science of Getting Rich".  I have been listening to both of these on audio tape (2 hours in the car everyday), and these guys have it right.  If you are successful in what you are doing you are utilizing "The Secret" or doing things "in a certain way". 

You really do need to SEE what you want.  You have to KNOW that you can have it.  I got myself out of debt using the secret and as I look back on that time, it really didn't feel like I was sacrificing at all.  I didn't do anything outwardly radical.  But I did make some concessions and its because the key thing was to 'GET OUT OF DEBT'.  If I had not been exposed to the Secret way of thinking I probably would be in the same predicament.  But as I get more control of my thoughts these things become easier.

To me doing something that gets you what you want is NOT hard work, its NECESSARY work.  You either do what you need to, or you don't get what you want.  I keep hearing people say, "The Secret" says to just ask, and you will have it or act as if you already have it and you will get it.  That's true.  But understand there is no other way to get what you want.  Acting like you already have something does not mean you don't work, it means you must ENJOY the work you are doing to get what you want, and if you are enjoying the work, is it really work?

Excellent way to advance the thread, and thanks for the Science of Getting Rich reminder...I hadn't thought in terms of linking the two but it's true...they are very similar in tone and ideas.
