Call we buy houses signs, put an ad in the paper, an ad on craigslist, go to your local reia meeting and meet investors in person.  Ask questions, figure out what they are buying and in what areas, ask if they are paying cash and what kind of discounts they are looking for.

Good luck!

I'm trying to do this myself and so far I've had some success with bogus posts on craigslist. I'm pushing homes for sale in the way I want to buy them. Lease Option, Rent to Own, Land Contract. I omit Sub2 though.

Great idea guys. I will start making calls and building a list once the festivities end.

Thanks

I like the suggestions so far.

One additional thing you might consider is an autoresponder, built into your own web site.

This will allow you to capture leads online with your advertising, which can get you buyers outside of the local area.

If your deals are good enough, you should look at sending them to a broader marketplace.

"GetResponse", "AutoResponse Plus", and "Constant Contact" are all good services, with a slight learning curve. It is worth it to go through the learning curve so that you can have these tools in your "tool belt" in the future.

Good luck! biggrin

Experienced Wholesaler - what is an autoresponder? Sounds intriguing... :O)

An autoresponder is a system that allows you to capture an email address, name, phone #, or any other info you want through a form that someone fills out on the web.

You have filled many forms out online, as we all have, just like you filled out to join this forum.

A list of members like this has so many names and emails and would be otherwise hard to manage if there were no way to organize the data you collect, then export it to Excel, Access, or whatever program helps you manage it.

Over time, you can manage the contact information of thousands of people with ease, because an autoresponder can help you capture the information.

Hope this helps.

P.S. There are a number of gurus in the area of Internet Marketing that can help you. I would suggest someone like Matt Bacak, Stephen Pierce, Armand Morin, etc. These guys (and there are a TON of others in that area) can get you started.

Good Luck biggrin

Experienced Wholesaler - THANK YOU! I had no idea that I had interacted with an autoresponder... Thank you for clarifying...

Have a nice Sunday!

leafeater - sorry for stealing your thread... :O)
