My uncle was assigned to that "alien" project in New Mexico, and believe me, he doesn't have any training that would qualify him for extraterresteral study, nor did he ever believe in extraterresteral life.

I can tell you what sectrets the US governement was keeping in government facilities in New Mexico in the 40's and 50's.... the development and testing of the atom bomb.

This forum, yes is about real estate. How would everyday life change if such a disclosure came about? Would there be a panic? Now our government would no longer be the controlling entity. In fact, our government would appear to have no control at all.

Why is there no open scientific forum on the extra-terrestrial sightings?
Why are people divided into two groups:  the crazies and the scoffers?

I am telling you that I have spoken to sane, trustworthy people who have seen definite alien craft. They haven't come forth because they would be laughed at exactly like is happening in this forum. The preponderance of people here believe as I do.

This area--the Southwest--seems active with sightings for unknown reasons.

Remember this forum might give you news before you see it disseminated. I am fearful of the enormous disruption to society that could follow ever-increasing sightings. I am fearful of probable non-benevolent intelligence. I hope to hell I don't see a mile-long craft glide over my head. I will be in awe, but I will be scared.

Your view of potential aliens depends on your philosophy on life and mankind. How you think mankind got here on earth determines how you view the possibility of aliens. If you're a religious person, why would God or the gods make us AND them? Would the two races be allowed to interact to the detriment of one/both or the benefit? If you're an evolutionist, where or how did they evolve?

Not as cut and dry as the crazies vs the scoffers.
