I'm seriously looking at real estate investing in the near future.

Would it be feasible to start a website looking for leads, leads that I wouldn't be able to follow up on right now, but I could sell, for a very small amount, to other investors?

In the future I would hopefully be able to build up some traffic to the site, and then begin to follow up some of those leads for myself.

It seems like I could focus the site on both sellers and buyers in a certain area, and then try to promote the site.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the encouragement.

Your website looks like it is doing well.

Sounds like a good idea.

What area of the US are you in?  Or would you market this nationally?

Good Luck!

No website yet.  But I'm going to get there someday.

There are so many options when it comes to hosting. I saw you recommended LinkURealty in another post. Are you pleased with their service, hosting, etc.?

Thanks.

I currently reside overseas, and in a year or so will be moving to the Dallas area.

My desire would be a site to focus on the DFW area, and there seems to be a large market with lots of activity there.

I just don't know how to go about it at this point.

I saw you are in Austin. Maybe you have some thoughts as to real estate investing in Texas?

Thanks.

Real Estate investing in Texas is a little different than in most states.  But all in all anything can be done through a good creative offer!

I'm not familiar with the Dallas market, but there's always room for one more!

Good Luck!

I do consulting for a company called findwhat and do investing as a pleasure thing, it really is what gets me jived. I have my own site and you can host it with anyone, the real key is getting it out to folks, the internet is such a huge forum that you have to offer something unique from the other folks out there to get noticed...best of luck!

That is the challenge, how to be and offer something unique on the internet, and how to get traffic to the site.

I might find something someday.
