Ha, I went to a RE Club meeting at my University last night to listen to a speaker talk about Tax Liens/Deeds. He got on to say that although he graduated college (Business degree) he learned more at a Real Estate Investing University. Students started asking him questions about this prestigious university and how they can quit college and go here instead. Turns out it was NR! I lost all credibility in what this guy had to say after that. Someone asked him how many deals he has done, his reply "none". But here he was telling us how to invest using Tax Liens and Tax Deeds. What a waste of time, I learned more reading the articles and threads here.

I've been contacted numerous times by NR. Each time, they wanted me to talk with or meet with someone else....not them, who was labelled as doing well. I gave them my standard answer to anyone who offers me 'an opportunity' to make money........I said have your 'guy' bring the last two years of his personal bank statements and I'll bring my last two years of personal bank statements......we will compare the deposits made and whomever has more deposits will teach the other one their business!!! So far, no one has shown up for a meeting!!
Had another encounter recently from NR....a lady called my regarding one of my real estate ads and asked me if I would consider teaching my real estate for a university. When I asked her more questions, she revealed that it was not, in fact a university, but NR. After I told her that her approach had no integrity and I would not want to work with an organization whose representatives had no integrity, we ended the conversation.
Now, when I place ads for my real estate business, I include 'No Nouveau Riche Calls.'

Hi there.
NR is pretty pricey and they also have a system whereby their students bring in more students.
One really has to factor that in when going with them.
We teach our students to keep things inexpensive and simple at the beginning: take a basic rei class and then move onto a wholesaling bootcamp of some sort and start making money at that level.
If you think about it, if you can't make money at that basic level, do you really have any business pouring thousands of $$ into something? Remember, it's not the amount of money you put into a program that matters, but how you apply it.
