HR 1207 is now in the House Committee on Financial Services. This is THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP in this legislation! If it doesn’t get out of committee it will not come to a vote!

Support this bill.  The bill is now up to 140 co-sponsors.  Unfortunately if The Fed is shut down and we go back to the gold standard, real estate investing will change dramatically.  We are able to invest because of the fractional reserve policy.

3% of the money supply is in cash and 97% is in loans and mortgages with a promise to pay.  Money is created out of thin air by The Federal Reserve and if they get shut down, real estate investing as we know it will be different, if not a thing of the past.

Read the book 'The Creature From Jekyll Island.'  This is the story of the creation of the private bank known as The Federal Reserve.  This will open your eyes to why world economies are so screwed up.  The Fed was not created in the Halls of Congress, it is not Federal, it is private and they have no reserves.
