Dean Graziosi Scam?
«
on:
April 14, 2009, 04:20:13 PM »
I ordered the course on late night TV from Dean Graziosi
and read thru it and it was crap.
On top of that, his sales reps have been calling me non-stop
trying to get me to buy his high-dollar coaching programs.
Has anybody ever had experience with Dean Graziosi? Is
he a scam?

It would appear that he is a salesman. If the "introductoty" material you purchased has disappointed you, then don't expect anything better from the more expensive stuff.
I am thinking you have already answered your own question.

Question: What did you pay for this educational experience?

First, everything I know about this character I learned on ebay just a few minutes ago. I hope you didn’t pay much because a search on completed listings with his name indicates his books and cd collections typically sell in the tens of dollars. Yes, that much. What does that tell you about the value of his expertise?
Plus, (or should I say in late-night infomercial parlance, “But Wait!”) not only is Mr. Graziosi a real estate expert, he also appears on an equally impressive series called “Motor Millions” and markets himself as an automobile guru.
Want to make money selling used cars? -- I’m not making this up; simply buy his book called, “Wholesale Secrets- Where anyone in any city can buy cars at incredible discounts.”
Haven’t I heard this before?
I’m guessing he did a global search and replace and changed the word “Cars” to “Real Estate” and voilà, instant RE guru?

I just purchased the book, "Be A Real Estate Millionaire". I Haven't read much yet, however I've been searching the web and checking out Dean's information. Sounds good. Great idea, on no credit help. I've been to meetings and researched several different avenues in hope of making money in Real Estate and all the no money down programs that I've looked into doesn't work. I still believe that there will be at least one program that really gives the tools and information needed to get started, and I think Dean's book is the one.
You can find some testimonials of people who have read the book here

And so it begins...
Out of nowhere comes the first time poster extolling the virtues of Dean Graziosi.
So you have not read much of the book yet you think "this is the one"? Very interesting.

Dean's info products are sold just so they can sell you on the larger info products on the back end. Typical marketing funnel. Sometimes these products are implicitly worth it and sometimes there not. I've read Dean's stuff. My review would be a big...................shoulder shrug.

I'm totally disagree, the book can open your mind to a world that is hidden for the most of us, is writen in a simple way, everybody can understand how the real estate business works, and gives an opportunity to get profit in a easy way without invest a big amount of money.

Oh look, another new member and first time poster coming in to defend the program.
Jason, Welcome and could you explain to us, with real examples, how this program works as well as you say?

I haven't read the book, but have purchased courses in the past. I always read throught them, figured out they were not practical, and sent them back before my 30 days. This one is the same way, I promise. His techniques may work somewhere on one house for some random guy who also won the lottery last week. You will get hounded by salesmen who will try to convince you that in order to really make money you need to take his additional course. If you feel you really NEED to read the book, buy it on ebay from someone private, or at a bookstore. You'll be sorry if you call his number and buy it from him.

I finally saw his commercial the other night. He is now also hawking a course on how to pay off debt quickly as well as his real estate millionaire series. What is a shame is that people are actually out their buying this crap otherwise he would not be able to pay for the commercials.

The problem with ALL real estate courses is PEOPLE buy them and except to be millionaires over night. They never want to leave and use the programs. You still need to have some working functions on the left or right side of your brain. Apply the principals and you can use many courses, however I still believe the best course is one that is hands on with a local investor willing to mentor you and reading...
All the so called GURU's are just peddling there courses to make money. Many do not even have a proven track record.
