Hey,
Sorry for my short absence, I've been to Israel and didn't have access to internet.
Anyways, thanks again for all the response, I didn't expect to get that many!

Lisa, it sounds very interesting, I would definitely like to hear of some more information if that's possible! If you have time just write a comment or send me an e-mail to bas.ubbens@me.com, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Stephanie, I'm afraid I'm not entirely familiar with your grading system, 4.5 GPA was the highest right? If I'm right, 4.2 is very impressive!
Back to the point though, I can understand your arguments why you might study at home instead of getting a real degree, but here in the Netherlands (maybe it's the same in America though) you will never be able to get a regular job without an official degree, so home-schooling by itself is definitely out of the question in my case, since I will really need a job to get started. However, that doesn't mean I won't be reading about things not included at university/school in my spare time.

All in all my impression is that almost all of you agree something business-related is a good choice, which I most certainly agree with. I'll have to do some more research into all the available majors though.
Choosing something to study isn't just an ordinary choice, I really want to know all the possibilities, so that I hopefully won't find myself in the situation of having regret due to making the wrong choice.

I want you to know that there IS real education out there!! There is a college that specializes .... This year, the school was nominated for accreditation status as well. I'm planning on attending for the first time this summer; if you'd like more info I'd be happy to give you more.

Yea, this is another Nouveau Riche spam attempt.  rolleyes Ya know what? NR has been nominated for accreditation for several years, but they just can't seem to get it. Maybe real schools and universities realize that NR is just MLM!! and they keep denying NR. Anyways, here's a recent thread on Nouveau Riche: http://www.reiclub.com/forums/index.php/topic,39594.0.html
And before anybody tosses out the old "but, but! you should talk to someone that has gone and knows". Guess what I'm a (former) member, I've been there, and I do know. Note my responses in that thread.
