I don't think this is a democrat/republican thing at all. This is a bought and paid for politician in a gerrymandered district showing his true values. Too bad he will never lose office because he is black and his gerrymandered district is all black. Check out this district and it's history! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Carolina%27s_12th_congressional_district

I am making signs for my yard right now.

They Say, MEL WATTs IS A SELL OUT!!! I'm gonna put them in my high traffic rental yards too.

I can't tell you guys how steaming mad I am this **** happens.

All the districts are Gerrymandered.  I don’t have a congressman.  Tom Delay assigned this guy that lives on the other side of Austin to me.  If you look at this map you have to understand that Houston is democrat and so is Austin.  So the district starts in the Republican northwestern suburbs of Houston (where I live) runs along the state highway between Houston and Austin and bends around Democrat Austin (which is where this guy lives).  The district looks normal until you realize that nobody lives between the north Houston suburbs and the other side of Austin.  That whole distance probably only has 5,000 people total.  Population wise it is shaped like a dumbbell.  I bet he can’t even tell you on Friday night which high schools that are playing football are in his district.  Texas is big.  He is far away from me as 2 of you guys states.
