Hello all, I'm new to REI and to this site. I've been wanting to invest in RE for quite a while now but don't have much cash or credit (I have a little cash). I just wanted some opinions on being a silent investor until I can build enough cash to fund my own deals. Is it a good idea? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If I were you I would start off finding deals for other investors while you gather more capital and improve your credit.  Take a look at this article for a better understanding of what I am talking about: http://www.reiclub.com/articles/bird-dogging-101

Another option in addition to bird dogging for investors would be to see what type of repair/rehab work you could help investors with.
