How do I get started or mentor, please help me, anyone......

I have read the real estate investment courses, have the motivation to do it. However, I do not have any money to invest. I have even printed biz cards and more, but just don't know how to get started. Do I need to have money to get started, if not how do I start? Help please!!!!!! I need a mentor or any kind of advice to break this wall. I live in Charlotte NC. Thanks for your help guys.

You may want to visit one of your local REI Club meetings and get to know some local investors.

yeah i would like to add to mdhaas post that once you meet and network with those investors find out the type of properties they like to buy price range condition etc... then go find those house put them under contract and assign them for a fee its called wholesaling it requires no oney at all check out these forums for starters on wholesaling...
