Dump the 17th amendment!!!!!!!

You won't find the word democracy in any original document of this country. We were suppose to be a republic, ruled by law, not the majority. The founders hated democracy for good reason, and never discussed it. It is a fact that when the majority rule, they will always plunder the minority.
Repealing the 17th amendment would be one step to undoing that horrible year of 1913. At least Wilson apologized before he died for what he did back then to our country.

Why dump it?  It wouldnt matter, we dont follow anything it says anyway.  Regardless of the language, sadly today, our politicians rarely even consider what the Constitution says.

You're right FO, it is just plain wrong and it's not fair.   All Bin Laden did was destroy a couple of buildings and kill 3,000 people.  The Chosen One is destroying our country and our entire way of life.  I'd be willing to bet that Barack Hussein ends up killing a LOT more Americans than the real Osama.

Also, I'm just following The Chosen One's lead.  He calls tea party members like me "tea baggers", which is a homosexual slur (as best I can tell), so I think it's only fair that I follow his lead and call him Osama (among other things).  Not very tolerant of the Socialist in Chief to make such prejudiced comments!

I've heard "tea partier" and "tea bagger" used as synonyms.  I am not aware of any homosexual slurs with those terms.  In fact, people protesting downtown here had tea bags pinned to their shirts, according to the local newspaper.

Reading is an important skill even for liberals FO!  I said that I'd bet that BO ends up killing more Americans than the real Osama - that is FUTURE tense.  I did not say that I suspect The Chosen One of killing Americans (past or present tense).  Furthermore, thinking that the socialist/communist/marxist government emerging in the US might want to kill millions of people isn't paranoia FO.  In fact, if you knew history, you would know that the socialists/communists/marxists killed over 150 MILLION people in the last century alone!  The mass murder of millions of people isn't only not paranoia, it's historically probably the most likely outcome.
