And how do we NOT have representation?  I've got the numbers and addresses of my Senators and Congressmen right here.

Our current president was elected overwhelmingly on basically a platform of HEALTHCARE REFORM.  The MAJORITY of the people wanted exactly that.  Our elected representatives then got it--a healthcare bill passed.

Now the ever-sore losers are about to arm up and take on what?... The U.S. Army?  the IRS?

Clever ad.  Also simplistic and catering right to the wanna-be Minute Man heart pumping in every red-blooded Conservative.

Their new motto:  "I don' understand it, but I don' like it and I'm AGIN it!"  The party of followers and ignorant non-thinkers.  Now heading towards being the party of sedition.

Our current president is a socialist disgrace and is destroying the country!  The majority of the people that voted for Osama did so because they wanted a black president to alleviate some misplaced guilt they had.

No, I don't think the military will back up the socialists that are currently running the country.  In fact, I would say that if Obama pushes things to far, the military might very well take over and then we could start again with a country that is based on the constitution.

"Agin it" - that sure sounds like you're prejudiced against us hillbillies!  Why is it that you lefties, who are supposed to be so tolerant, are so intolerant?

Sedition?  Yep, that's the socialist way!  When you don't like the free speech by the right, you try to silence that free speech.  Osama is working on ways to kill the 1st Amendment right now - so you're definitely in sinc with the Socialist in Chief.  In all seriousness, I do think Osama is doing everything he can to get us into a civil war!

Mike - You're already intimately aware of this, but for others' benefit - here is the oath of office military officers take upon commissioning and during promotion:

I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

When the rubber hits the road, wonder what will happen??

I was an officer and I did take that oath AND I MEANT IT!  I am quite confident that when the rubber hits the road, the vast majority of the officer corps (pronounced 'cores', not corpse as the Terrorist in Chief says) will honor their oath.  That is exactly what the entire 'Oath Keepers' movement is all about.

One disagreement here....

Obama DID NOT get elected because of "MISPLACED GUILT"

He was elected for ONE REASON....

...and I think George W Bush was as good a reason as any other to give a democrat a chance.  Unfortunately, the "change" that Osama was talking about was more of the same socialism and one world government that Bush pursued - just 1,000 times bigger!

propertymanager,
The Racism that I hear on this board comes from you...
You are the one calling our president "Terrorist".  You are the one who perverts his name by calling him "Osama", the name of the infamous Saudi Arabian murderer.

This is so unspeakably ignorant and ungentlemanly.  I visualize you as a red-faced bigot, waving your fist, and screaming loud insults with spittle on your chin.

If you could just wipe that off.  I can't even grasp your argument or points when your conversation drops to that level.  Then you are just not even worth talking to.

Where are the other Moderators?  Why no muzzle for you?  Why are you immune from common-sense rules of intelligent debate?

This is the "Random Ramblings" area, and area designed to give folks a greater degree of latitude in their postings than in the other DIscussion Forums.

How come it is that the left rambles on and on about "Freedom of Speech" but are the first to scream, "Well, everyone except 'PropertyManager', you need to muzzle him"?

WTF, K?  What's with the selective enforcement?

It's funny how when anyone speaks ill of Obama, it's racism - where was that during the previous administration?  Could it be that some people don't like Obama because he is ill-prepared for the position that he is fillling and that the criticism is justified?

There is no problem here.  You have to remember this is America.  Both parties run their candidates and whoever wins gets to run the country.  Obama won and you follow him.  When Bush won, you followed him.  You get your guy elected or you eat dirt.  I remember I was in Virginia when Clinton won the presidency.  Virginia went republican and Massachusetts went Democrat.  Later on they decided to move a submarine construction contract form Newport News to the shipyards in Massachusetts.  The winners get to govern.  If you want to govern you have to get your people elected.  The problem is that the country is pushed so far to the right that you guys see normal middle of the road things as far left.  There is nobody pushing any left wing agendas.  The things you guys see as left or socialist only look left because you are looking at it from so far right.

You guys can’t even find decent candidates.  You can’t find a person with a proper education that can get to their positions logically.  What I mean is that when you find a person properly educated that understands how this country and the world works they can’t get to these positions you guys are demanding.  So you end up with people like
Sarah Palin, Rand Paul, Sharron Angle as realistically palatable candidates for serious offices.  These guys are so far right that you have to wince when they talk.
