Nasa's New Mission - Improve Muslim Self-Esteem!

NASA Administrator Charles Bolden said in a recent interview that his "foremost" mission as the head of America's space exploration agency is to improve relations with the Muslim world.

Though international diplomacy would seem well outside NASA's orbit, Bolden said in an interview with Al Jazeera that strengthening those ties was among the top tasks President Obama assigned him. He said better interaction with the Muslim world would ultimately advance space travel.

That's why I love The Socialist Scientist in Chief...only he could think that the best use of the smartest people in the country (Nasa) would be to convince the Muslims that their camels were an important contribution to science and the space program.  HE'S AN IDIOT!

Im a big "lets travel space" fan.  I think the Universe is very fasinating.  However, what has NASA done recently?  We havent been to the moon or anything in decades.  GPS in nice, and all that helps with National Defence, but this is ridiculous.  NASA seems to become a blackhole when it comes money, and NOW we have this being said?

  This is a trainwreck of an administration everyday.I beleive there is way more hard working,country loving people who are just waiting to strike like a cobra in November.Tame the madness.

  One party rule is never good,,,,China has one party rule,,and the people are realizing how they have been fooled/robbed.

  And it always seems to be on the promise of equality,a better future.Sounds like the   it is to me.But then again my ears are adjusted to that of the working class since that's how I have always got what I need.Maybe,just maybe we should do alot of "adjusting/cutting off handouts of a few and then see results.

 After all,,teach a man to fish or give him fish,should explain it without complications.I would think anyway.Our great american work ethic that built this country has been traded for entitlements for votes by big govt "proggresives".

Actually, I know PM's delivery rubs folks the wrong way. However, it would be great if you could speak to the point of the topic. If you disagree, you could explain your reasons why and we could all learn from it. I, for one, would love to see a list of inventions or discoveries by Muslims that have advanced civilization.

 I have a friend in the military who is a JAG. His job is to act as a claims adjuster and settle claims against the US Army for damages to Iraqi civilians. For example, if a tank runs over a car the Iraqi citizens gets paid for it. Here's the catch. The value of losses are determined by IRAQI law not US law.

Did you know that the family that loses a farm animal gets paid substantially more than a family that loses a FEMALE family member? What does that say about their values?

FWIW-  I do have a friend from Kuwait who is Muslim. To his credit he is the only person I ran into who actually knew the facts about the Federal Reserve. Most Americans, including myself until recently, think they understand what the Federal Reserve does but actually don't.

No, I wasn't aware of this and have not confirmed it. Regardless, what does this have to do with the religious teachings that a Muslim follows? Did you know that 3rd world countries abort MILLIONS.. I repeat MILLIONS... of female fetuses every year because it's easier, more affordable, and better ROI to raise a SON?! These acts are not driven by the teachings of any religion. It's the people that corrupt the teachings to serve their own interests.

Using your logic, did you know that our great Christian country has wrongly invaded Iraq and killed over 1 MILLION CIVILIANS. What does that say about a Christian's values? NOTHING. Because the religious teachings, whether Islam or Christianity, DO NOT condone the killing of civilians!

The REAL PROBLEM here is two fold....

First....The Muslim world has been FALSELY stereo typed as ALL RADICAL nuts.
These types are found in EVERY RELIGION....JIM JONES is a classic example in the Christian religion.....But the problem in the Muslim world is more real.  NOT allowing entire SEGMENTS of your population to attend ENGINEERING COLLEGES (because they are woman) at some point HAS TO come back and bite you in the @ss.

On the other hand....USING a resource such as NASA to ENCOURAGE countries to SEE the error in that thinking is NOT a bad thing....Of coarse FOX NEWS isn't gonna sell Mike

  The simple fact that a group is specified for it's religion or faith and then gave credit is backwards to me.It's like saying Henry Ford was a Christian and the first american car builder.Who cares about what they beleive,,you should be looking at what they have acheived.

 Some in this country have really screwed things up and created racism with this type of approach.I laugh my a$$ off at Dave Chappel,he's a black muslim,does it change my mind.NO!

 Now seeing some of hollywood trying to talk politics and world matters is another thing.These people should really stick to acting,,their lifestyle and what they are shown is going on is so far from reality.

 I would be concerned on the reason Muslims were specified or any faith or race before the acheivement.When you put their faith/race first,then say let's show what they have done,you set an agenda.And I simply ask why?Why in that order?If we are excepting all religions/races then why do we bring it up?It's the "proggresive" way,put everyone in groups,that's why.They are dividing a country that was just fine before their brilliant solutions came along.
