Great job Hoosier.  Congratulations.  Remember the second worst thing that ever happens to a guy is he goes to work.  The worst thing is that he gets paid for doing that work.  From then own whenever he needs money he thinks about getting a job.  Work is a quicksand that bogs you down from getting rich.  You will make some good money and next thing you know you are living on that money.  Keep your eyes on the goal.

Congrats Hoosier, job well done.

Now, listen to what Blue is saying here and follow it. If you do, you'll be thanking him many times over. Don't get on that hamster wheel, as many have done, look at how they are strugling now.

Think multiple streams of INCOME!!

Nice job, Josh!

Good luck moving forward!

PS - Who's the cute chick on your FB page?  I used to know a girl that looked like her - her name was 'Annie', as I remember.

Nice Job Hoosier. Congrats!.. Stay in the studying mode until you take your boards. I've known a lot of people who "took their foot off the gas" and failed their boards. You need that licence in your hands. Keep it up..  beer

Hoosier,
We've all watched you grow up on these boards.  Congratulations for completing what you started!  Listen to Phlemboy--study a Nursing Review book for those boards, don't party yet (well, okay, a little).

My vote for the quote of the week:

"Work is a quicksand that bogs you down from getting rich."
Bluemoon06.

For you newcomers--what Bluemoon means is if you ONLY work, and don't focus on making plans and goals, then that is all you will do.  You will work, rest, watch TV, spend.  Work, rest, watch TV, spend.  On and on.  Years will go by.

If you use the work as a PATH, a means to getting where you want to go, then it is no longer a quicksand.  DON'T JUST USE WORK TO BECOME A CONSUMER.

Make a budget.  Use your work-earned money to move you to the next step.  Which is you buy something that makes YOU money, or invest to make YOU money.  If you are reading these boards, already it means you are thinking about not being a sheep (consumer).

I agree, one must be able to put aside a good chunk of cash and make sure his/her's expenses are MUCH lower then the income. Then invest those savings into a system, or asset that will make you MORE money.

Money is the best employee one can ever have. It goes to work, it will work 24/7, you never hear it complaining and never gets tired.

Nice pics.

I wish I would have been as on the ball with school as you have been. When I was your age I was out following the Grateful Dead around having a good time and trying to find myself.
