How Useful and Effective is This?

Not the first time I hear about it, but I would like to know if people have had success with it before I spend energy on setting up something like that. Anyone?

Nobody has ever heard of this.  This is what happens.  Someone who has very few posts asks an innocent question about this obscure product.  Then someone else (usually with only 2 or 3 posts) pops in and says it is better than sliced bread.  And this is supposed to pry business out of this site.

My company currently does this.  We're not the only company who sponsors the event, and it doesn't attract massive amounts of people.  However, it does engage some investors and keeps our current customers/investors engaged.  To start out with this may not be the greatest of plans in real estate (in other businesses this idea would be great, however), but if you want something different for clients or buyers, this is a good idea.
