re-selling with a realtor

hello,

I have made an offer on a property that is listed with a realtor, here is the question:

     when the seller accepts, do I use this same listing realtor to sell the property???

      If this realtor does re-sell it for me....how is the commission handled, do I pay a 3% fee or am I going to be paying her a 6% commission???  (guess I should have asked her that, right??)   :oops:

     Please inform me as to how you seasoned pros handle this situation!!!

Welcome to the board.

Like everything else in real estate, it's all negotiable. Don't use the same realtor more than once if that realtor is incompetent.

Talk to the realtor and work something out that you both can live with.
