I am looking for an investment club to join (besides this great club) and was just wondering what anyone else on this board does. Also, I have seen two different sites that talk about the wealthbuilders club. Its website is down for some reason, but the two sites gave one meeting scheduled on a Sat. and one said that it met on a Monday. Can anyone shed light?

Exhorn,

I'll help you out even if you are an ex-long horn. :-)  I'm an ex Red Raider.  November 15th we're coming to town! It should be a great game...with us winning of course.

There are 3 REI clubs in Austin. You can find information about each in the clubs section of this website. The link is below.

Hope this helps.

ExRaider-  :F

Thanks for your acceptance. Although I am a little worried when the Raiders come into town w/ their QB, I am glad that it is in Austin and not Lubbock! Good luck to y'all. At least you ended up in the right city even if you didn't attend The School.  dance2

Thanks for the response to my question. I do know about all the clubs that Austin has to offer, I am just merely trying to feel out what other people are doing and their opinions. If you or anyone knows any info. about the Wealthbuilders club, I would appreciate that as well.

Ex-Long Horn

It will probably be a high scoring game because our defense can't seem to stop anybody. But our offense definitely knows how to put up the points. I'm looking forward to it.

I must have misunderstood your question. Sorry.

Here's the background behind wealth builders. I'm assuming you're talking about Rudy Gutierrez's club.

From what I understand, Rudy used to run the club that Bob Guest now runs and it was called Wealth Builders.

Now Rudy has his own club called Wealth Builders and Bob's club is called the Real Estate Investment Club of Austin.

I've never been to one of Rudy's meetings, but I know Rudy, and he knows what he's talking about. He's forgot more about real estate than most people will ever know. I'm sure you'll learn a great deal from his meetings.

Maybe someone who has been to Rudy's meetings can jump in here.

Anglique Naylor also has a club in Austin. Her club information is below.

I hope that helps a little more.
