Can anybody tell me what they've had the most success or best response rate w/...Typed Letter or Post Cards?

I'm considering sending letters or post cards to every lis penden w/ equity and every probate case listed in the local paper. I can send the letters to lis pendens b/c thats not too many. Put the probate listings get into the hundreds.  I've heard one works about as good as the other and then I've heard, only send letters.  What have you guys had the best results from?  Any suggestions on the cheapest place to get post cards printed?

thanks!

I think you have to send both....I send a letter the first time and a post card the second time. I also think that you need to brand yourself. Whatever you send make it unique and when they get the second piece they will already feel like they know you.
Good Luck and please let me know what works for you.
It is always good to share stats.

Hey,
Don't know from personal experience, but you can use fed-ex to get past the crowd and some suggest putting something to thcken the letter to get them to open it. As Ramona suggests be unique and be personable. These are not my niches but for ease of use I use USPS.com for postcards, Not real cheap but easy.
Peace,
Richard

Richard,

I really like the Fed Ex idea. How much does that run?
I mailed 110 letters today to a new batch of people. Wow I wonder how cool it would be to mail 110 fed ex envelopes.

Hey,
Ramona: go to fedex.com and you can determine your rates, Not having your zips I was unable to. You can do everything on line it looks like so it would make it handy. Like I said that is not my niche but I may use it some for what I do. Good luck.
Peace,
Richard

Rhm... great move on the FedEX idea.  I'll be sure to use that one!

For quality and price of postcards, go to www.postcardmania.com .  I use them and have generated a lot of interests.

I love postcards because you know they'll at least get glanced at. And if you can make people laugh in that glance you can have the for 1-3 more seconds. Just long enough to get your message across.

You might want to consider Send Out Cards which can print & mail your postcards for you for less.

Please pm me with questions.

Promise land,
Which pix do you use when using postcardmania?
Also, to they print the letter you want to advertise to your customer?  How about the addresses of your customers, do you print that or them?

thanks,
Joseph

Joseph... I have used 3 of them, the seasonal ones.  This month I went with the Christmas theme just to keep in front of my prospects and wish them a Merry Christmas.

For my address labels, I go with my title company, they will provide me with address labels as a free service.  You should ask around to title companies on this service... they're out there.

Promiseland,
How about the what the post cards says or the message on the Pcard? Does the company pre-print that or do you?

thanks,
Joseph

I try to keep it simple with the seasonal postcards.  The main point that I'm trying to get across is that I wish them well during the holidays and I include my contact info on the other side.  I try not to give the prospect the impression that I'm using the holiday to purely advertise myself.
